Background:

Winston Water Cooler in Glendale, Arizona reached out to Striem for a quote and lead time on (217) point-of-use neutralization tanks (LB-2). We provided net pricing and lead time over the phone and also requested a set of plans to review.

The plans included a note stating: “Existing central acid trap systems will be eliminated due to extreme expense of re-plumbing the lines. Each new lab station sink shall have a small individual dilution tank Orion Model #T8, 1.5 gallon dilution tank with 1″-3″ limestone rock media in lieu of trap.” 

Interestingly, the project originally specified Striem’s LB-2 tanks. But when summer construction began, Pat, with Winston Water Cooler, noticed that the spec had been changed to Orion.
