Background: An above-grade drain trough was needed for a new fire station being built in Jackson County, MO. The plumbing code required a drain trough with a minimum capacity of 18-gallons for (1) 65 lb. extractor. After recently meeting with the engineering firm that was awarded the project, the specifying engineer appreciated the features and benefits of the new Striem Tuff Trough.
